How God can help

How God Can Help in your time of bereavement?

The pain and loneliness of losing a loved one is one of life’s hardest things.

The Christian faith tells us of how God came to share our life in the person of His Son Jesus, who experienced both the good and bad times, and even death itself. The mighty resurrection of Jesus from the dead assures us that death is not the end, and that we can know He is with us in our life, especially in times of sorrow and sadness.

Open your heart to Him in prayer, inviting Him to come to you in His risen life and to give you His peace and comfort. Nothing can separate us from the Love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

A member of the Pastoral team or the Vicar will be pleased to visit you and pray with you. You are also assured of a very warm and understanding welcome at St Peter & Paul’s Church. See ‘Activities” Menu

A PRAYER FOR GREATER FAITH

Almighty and ever-living God, who has taught us that death is not the end, help us to believe in the fuller life beyond, and to know that neither death nor life, can separate us from your Love or from each other in that Love, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen
